Privacy policy

This policy explains what iTeraPlay (accessible at https://iteraplay.net) does and does not do with information when you use the site. It applies only to iTeraPlay, not to TeraBox, which has its own privacy policy.

The short version

  • iTeraPlay does not require an account, so we do not collect a name, email or password to use the tool.
  • We do not store the TeraBox links you paste in, or the video files themselves, once your visit ends.
  • We keep a short-lived technical record for abuse prevention only, described below.
  • There is currently no advertising on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

What we process, and why

The link you paste in

When you paste a TeraBox share link, iTeraPlay sends it to TeraBox's servers to ask for that file's playback details. This request is necessary to do the one thing the site does. We do not keep a permanent log of which links were opened, and we do not build a history, list or feed of links other visitors have pasted in.

To avoid asking TeraBox for the same link over and over in a short space of time, the result for a link is kept in server memory for a few minutes before it is discarded.

Rate limiting and abuse prevention

To keep the service free and stop it being drained by automated abuse, iTeraPlay counts how many links an IP address opens per day and per minute, and runs a small automatic check in your browser to confirm a real browser is making the request. This counting is done against your IP address, not an account or a cookie profile, and daily counters reset every day. Downloaded files are streamed through, or redirected from, our server without being written to disk.

Server logs

Like most web servers, our hosting infrastructure keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP address, requested page and timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. These are not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and local storage

iTeraPlay does not use tracking or advertising cookies at this time. Your browser may keep small technical preferences (such as a paste-permission prompt) using local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Advertising

iTeraPlay does not currently run any advertising, including Google ads. If advertising is added in future, this section will be updated first to name the providers used, describe any cookies or identifiers they set, and explain the choices available to you, including opting out of personalised advertising through your browser's ad settings or aboutads.info.

Children

iTeraPlay is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

Because no account is required, there is generally nothing to delete on our side tied to you personally. If you believe we hold information about you that should be removed, contact us using the details below and we will look into it.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
