How to Watch a TeraBox Video on a TV

Someone shares a TeraBox video and you want it on the big screen instead of a phone. Here is what is actually true about TeraBox and TVs, and what genuinely works.

There is no confirmed TeraBox TV app

We looked for an official TeraBox app on Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Roku or Apple TV and found none. A separate Flextech app called "TeraTV: Short Drama and Reels" exists, but it is its own short-video product, not a TV version of TeraBox, and does not give you access to your TeraBox files. Built-in casting (Chromecast or AirPlay) from inside the TeraBox app itself is also not confirmed in any official source.

What actually works: general screen-sharing methods

None of these are TeraBox features, they are general ways to get anything from a browser or phone onto a TV, and they work the same way for a TeraBox link played through a browser:

• An HDMI cable. The most reliable option. Connect a laptop or phone to the TV directly and play the video in a browser as normal.
• Screen mirroring. Most modern TVs and streaming devices support mirroring a phone or laptop screen (AirPlay on Apple devices, various built-in mirroring on Android and smart TVs). This mirrors whatever is on your screen, including a browser tab playing a video.
• Casting a browser tab. Chromecast and similar devices can cast an entire Chrome tab from a computer. This sends the tab's video output to the TV, again with no TeraBox-specific integration involved.

Because these are general browser-casting methods rather than a TeraBox feature, they work whether you are watching through the TeraBox app's own web player or through a tool like iTeraPlay that opens the same link in a plain browser page.

What we have not tested

We have not personally tested every combination of TV, streaming device and mirroring method with a TeraBox link, so specifics like exact button locations or codec compatibility on a given TV will vary by device. Treat this as the general approach, not a guaranteed step-by-step for your exact hardware.

The simplest path

If you just want the video open and ready to mirror, paste the share link into iTeraPlay on the device you plan to mirror or cast from, get it playing, then use that device's normal mirroring or casting option.
