TeraBox Link Domains Explained: 1024terabox, teraboxapp and the Rest

If you have ever received TeraBox links from different people, you may have noticed they do not all start the same way. Some say terabox.com, some say 1024terabox.com, and others use names like teraboxapp.com or 4funbox.com. None of that is a mistake, and none of it is automatically a red flag either.

Why more than one domain exists

The company behind TeraBox, Flextech Inc., has used more than one domain over the years and across regions. terabox.com itself now redirects to 1024terabox.com, which is the current main site. A number of other names, including teraboxapp.com, terabox.app, 1024tera.com, 4funbox.com, mirrobox.com, nephobox.com, momerybox.com, tibibox.com, freeterabox.com, terabox.club, terasharelink.com and teraboxlink.com, also redirect to the same official site. If a link you were sent uses one of these, it is coming from TeraBox.

There is no single official list

Here is the part worth knowing: TeraBox has not published one definitive list of every domain it uses for share links. The list above is one we have checked directly, not one TeraBox itself hands out. That is normal for a service that has changed names and expanded internationally, but it does mean a certain amount of judgement is needed for a domain that is not on any list yet.

What to do with an unfamiliar domain

If a link uses a domain you do not recognise, the safest check is simple: does opening it lead to TeraBox's actual site, with TeraBox's actual share page, asking for the actual file you were told to expect? If yes, it is very likely a legitimate TeraBox mirror domain. If it leads somewhere that does not look like TeraBox at all, or asks for information TeraBox would never ask for on a share page (like a password to an unrelated account), treat it with caution.

You do not need to work this out by hand. Paste the link into iTeraPlay and it will either read the file directly from TeraBox, or tell you plainly that it could not.

The two link styles

Separately from the domain, TeraBox share links come in two shapes:

• The current short style: /s/1AbCdEfGh...
• An older style using a query string: ?surl=AbCdEfGh
